About KidJamz Volume-Limiting Technology
KidJamz headphones utilize an integrated volume limiter to maintain the sound pressure level (SPL) near 85 dB, as recommended by most medical organizations, protecting young ears and helping create lifelong good listening habits.
The 85 dB limit is based on average SPL measurement of the output of a typical portable audio device. While the limiter is designed to restrict the volume to a safe level with a typical portable audio device, some high-powered audio systems may still produce sound levels that are above safe levels for children. It is important for parents and guardians to periodically check children's use of these headphones and ensure that they are being used in a safe and responsible manner.

KidJamz headphones feature a switch that allows the volume limiter to be disabled in noisy environments. There are two positions for the switch:

| 85dB | Standard volume-limited mode — output is limited to approximately 85 dB. |
| MAX | Unlimited travel mode — the volume limiter is disabled. |
⚠ CAUTION: Using headphones at higher volume levels for extended periods of time may result in listening fatigue and hearing damage. When using the KidJamz in travel mode, set the volume on the media device you are using to the lowest level before connecting the headphones, then gradually raise the volume until an acceptable level is reached. Children should take a 10-minute break every hour of listening in travel mode and switch back to 85 dB mode when possible.
Microphone and Remote
The inline microphone and remote can be used during phone calls and to control media playback with compatible devices.

Multicolor Lights
The LED light mode button can be used to cycle various light colors and patterns, and to turn the lights on and off.

Warnings – Important Safety Instructions
⚠ CAUTION – Choking hazard: small parts. Not for children under 3 years. Keep the packaging out of the reach of children and pets.
- Strangulation hazard. This product may pose a strangulation hazard and should not be used by infants or anyone at risk of becoming entangled in the cord.
- Do not use while performing activities that require hearing surrounding sounds. Use only in safe environments where reduced hearing will not compromise safety.
- Carefully inspect the headphones and cable for any signs of visible damage before each use. Discontinue use immediately if any damage is found. Using damaged headphones or a damaged cable may result in electric shock or injury. Keep damaged headphones out of reach of children and contact MEE audio or your authorized reseller for repair or replacement.
- Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by MEE audio could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Care Instructions
Clean with a soft cloth, dampened with a diluted soapy water solution if necessary. Do not use chemical cleaners.
Do not expose the device to liquids. If the device comes in contact with liquids, quickly wipe them away. If submerged in water, do not use the device until it is completely dried.
Note: Liquid submersion voids the warranty.

MEE audio products purchased from authorized resellers are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty (2 years in the EU).
