2. Getting Started

1. Place the earpieces in the case.
2. Plug in the charging cable and charge for 2 hours.
3. Remove the earbuds from the case to automatically enter pairing mode.
4. Open your device's Bluetooth menu and select MEE audio KidJamz Air.

3. How to Wear

Wear the KidJamz Air correctly for the best comfort and sound quality.

1. Use the left earpiece in the left ear and the right earpiece in the right ear.
2. Ensure the flattened sphere containing the speaker is in front and the touch panel with the silver accents is behind the ear.
3. With audio playing, adjust the KidJamz Air up and down as shown for the best comfort and audio performance.

4. Controls

All controls are performed on the touch control panel of the earpiece.

5. Charging Case Indicator Light

The battery indicator light on the charging case (C in the Product Overview) shows the charging status and the case's remaining battery.

Checking Remaining Battery

Make sure the charging cable is not plugged in, then place the earpieces in the case to activate the indicator light.

6. About KidJamz Volume-Limiting Technology

KidJamz headphones utilize an integrated volume limiter to maintain the sound pressure level (SPL) near the 85 dB limit recommended for young ears, protecting children's hearing and helping create good lifelong listening habits.

It is important for parents and guardians to periodically check children's use of these headphones and ensure that they are being used in a safe and responsible manner.

Volume Limiter On/Off

KidJamz Air earbuds allow parents to disable the volume limiter temporarily for use in noisy environments.

Volume Limiter Modes

• Volume limiter on (default): 85 dB safe listening mode
• Volume limiter off: 94 dB mode for noisy environments

To toggle the volume limiter off or back on, tap the touch panel on either earpiece 2x, then immediately press and hold it for 1 second.

Cycle Safe Listening Mode On / Off

Tap 2x, followed by 1x long press.

7. Clear Pairings / Pair New Device / Troubleshooting

Most issues can be solved by resetting the KidJamz Air and re-connecting it to your device.

1. Take out both earpieces and put them in your ears.
2. Tap the touch panel on either side 6 times to clear pairings. If successful, you will hear a voice prompt.
3. Open your device's Bluetooth menu and select MEE audio KidJamz Air.

8. Care and Maintenance

Periodically wipe the charging contacts on the earbuds and carrying case with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Use alcohol or diluted soapy water if needed. Do not use chemical cleaners. Allow the earbuds and case to dry completely. Do not place the earbuds into the carrying case with excess water or sweat.

Use a soft cloth or cotton swab moistened with alcohol or diluted soapy water to clean the speaker grille. If there is dust or debris inside the speaker grille, it can be removed with adhesive tape, or with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Keeping the speaker grille free of debris and earwax is key to maintaining the volume and audio performance of your earbuds.

9. Warnings

• Do not use while performing activities that require hearing surrounding sounds. Use only in safe environments where reduced hearing will not compromise safety.
• Danger of explosion or fire if batteries are damaged. Never attempt to open the battery for any reason. Do not use the device if it has been crushed, pierced, or otherwise damaged in any way that could compromise the battery. Do not leave the device in any location with excessive heat including open flames or near heat sources such as radiators and stoves. Do not expose the battery to spark, flame, or salt water.
• Carefully inspect the earbuds for any signs of visible damage before each use. Discontinue use immediately if any damage is found. Using damaged earbuds may result in electric shock or injury. Keep damaged earbuds out of reach of children and contact MEE audio or your authorized reseller for repair or replacement.
• Do not charge or use around flammable gases, liquids, or dust as fire or explosion may occur.
• There are no user-replaceable or repairable parts in the device. Disassembling it will void your warranty and may cause personal injury. Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by MEE audio could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
